Clarifications on some AGLIS and tasks

- 21105 identify tools. In PSAT 21105 – which tool? Singular/plural? RESPONSE: THE AGLI STATES: IDENTIFY TOOLS FOR MEASUREMENT (21105). FOR THIS AGLI IT WOULD BE PLURAL ‘TOOLS’, THE COOKING ACTIVITY WOULD USE, FOR EXAMPLE, A MEASURING CUP AND A MEASURING SPOON OR MULTIPLE MEASURING CUPS DEPENDING ON THE COOKING ACTIVITY NEEDS.

Possible task – does not talk about "select" RESPONSE: THE POSSIBLE DATAFOLIO PRODUCTS AND VERIFYING EVIDENCE ASSESSMENT STRATEGIES ARE ONLY ONE EXAMPLE OF HOW IT THE VE MIGHT LOOK—IN THIS CASE SEGMENT ONE COULD ADDRESS THE ‘SELECT’ AND THE OTHER SEGMENTS ADDRESS THE TIME PERIOD THAT THE STUDENT WAS ATTENDING TO THE TEXT. ALSO, A TEACHER MAY USE THEIR OWN DATA COLLECTION SHEET AS LONG AS ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR DATA COLLECTION SHEETS ARE MET. ANOTHER TYPE OF VE THAT MAY WORK FOR THIS ASSESSMENT TASK WOULD BE PHOTOGRAPHS.

Templete?? RESPONSE: THE AGLI STATES: IDENTIFY CONGRUENT SHAPES AND/OR CONGRUENT ANGLES (31104). THIS TASK IS ASKING THE STUDENT TAKE TWO DIFFERENT SHAPES AND PLACE THEM TOGETHER TO IDENTIFY IF THEY ARE CONGRUENT. ONCE A CONGRUENT PAIR IS FOUND THE SHAPES CAN BE PLACED ON THE WORKSHEET. CONGRUENT MUST BE SAME SHAPE AND SAME SIZE AND LOOKS VERY MUCH LIKE MATCHING—HOWEVER IT IS NOT A TEMPLATE AS THE SAME SHAPE AND SIZE NEED TO BE A MATCH IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED CONGRUENT.
