Alicia
We have seen a number of datafolios where the month of the collegial
review is BEFORE some of the dates of data collection. This has been
most often evident in the programs that have the largest number of
datafolios (over 50, sometimes even 200+) where they had deadline dates
for teachers to turn in their ELA info for collegial reviews on that
section that was as early as November. In doing the collegial reviews,
the reviewer often indicated the FIRST month it was reviewed....
Is this going to be a problem when there is VE that is dated AFTER the
month of the review?
In addition.... even in a more normal scenario there may be collegial
dates that are BEFORE some of the VE dates. If the reviewer finds an
error which needs to be corrected by the LSET, in doing the correction
there may be VE dates that are subsequent to the month of the collegial.
Again... is this going to be a problem?
Hi Teri,
The collegial review information will be recorded as a Yes/No question
during scoring. Scorers will not be reviewing the collegial review month
against any student performance data.
Take care,
Alicia
