ProFile Update for Grade Level

We wanted to share some information about the NYSAA Student Page in Measured Progress ProFileTM with regards to how the grade selection process is a little different than in previous years. New for this year, the user must select the grade assessed before the drop down information will display for the date of birth. Once the grade assessed is selected the system will then only display dates of birth that fall within that grade level. If the user does not see the appropriate date of birth then he/she does not have the appropriate grade assessed. The change was needed due to the fact that many users needed to update a date of birth for a student and the system as it was before would make the user create a new student from scratch. With the system now, the user can change a date of birth, as long as it is still within the same grade level, and all inputted data will remain. Also, there Age Range Chart is on the Student Page so the teacher will have the grade and date of birth information accessible while he/she is using the system. The Age Range Chart must be used in order for a teacher to ensure the date of birth falls in the correct grade assessed for the NYSAA. As with previous versions of Measured Progress ProFileTM, once the Student Page information is entered the system will only show the grade appropriate forms for the student datafolio and will only allow for the appropriate AGLIs to be available for selection.
