I have a student that moved in the last week of January to a new school
district. I have completed his NYSAA portfolio and would be turning it
in on Thursday at our last peer review. We did not have a new school
district until today, when we got a records request. Do I score still
in my district or do I send it to the new district? Kimberly
Hello Kimberly,
I checked into your question and found that your district, as the
"losing" district would keep the datafolio and score it with your other
datafolios. Your district would also report that student's score, even though the student has recently moved to a new school district. The datafolio remains in your school district for
one year. Also, your district is accountable for this student's scores.
Thank you for your question.
Sincerely,
Cynthia Wilson
