Kelly, You have probable already answered this question, but here goes... Is the use of a calculator acceptable as a strategy for the AGLIs that address using one or more strategies to solve basic computation? (ie. 3rd Grade # 13204 add and/or subtract whole numbers from 1-19 using one or more strategies.) Thanks! Pam
Hi Pam,
Thank you for the follow-up question. Please review the term ‘Strategies’ in the Mathematics content glossary in the Frameworks. It explains the strategies may include the use of a calculator. Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Thanks much!
Kelly
