Use of time segment data collection sheet

Hi
I have some teachers who utilized the time segment data collection sheet
but only needed to use 3 segments instead of the 5 segments on the
pre-printed sheet. You cannot modify this sheet and remove the last two
segments
The teachers just entered data for the first 3 segments-
Each segment time is 1 minute
so the student had to perform the task for 3 minutes in total
Is this OK or do time segment tasks have to have 5 segments?

Alicia, we believe that this is not a problem but we want to make sure.
Please confirm.
Pat

Hi Pat - Thanks for your question regarding the sample time segment data
collection sheet. You are correct - a teacher has the option of breaking
up a task into time segments as approprite for the student. WHile there
are 5 segments outlined on the DCS provided in the ADminsitration
Manaual 5 segments are not required.
Take care,
Alicia
