Well the school year is underway and the trainings for our Capital Region BOCES region will begin soon. A full day training for new teachers will be offered at Capital Region BOCES on September 27th from 8 am to 3 pm. Teachers who have administered the NYSAA in the past can attend the update session which begins on the same date at 12 pm. The adminstration period for NYSAA begins October 4th and ends February 11th. You may collect data within this time frame. Please take advantage of the training available and familiarize yourself with the new NYSAA administration manual. There are changes this year that you need to be aware of. Only use 2010-2011 adminstration manual and frameworks to develop your datafolios. Old materials should be discarded.
