Good Day!
The New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA) Teacher Survey is available online. This is step 15 in the administration guidelines.. The purpose of the teacher survey is to obtain feedback on important questions related to NYSAA. The survey should only take about 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey contains a combination of multiple choice and open response items. The Department greatly values the feedback received from teachers and uses it to direct training and administration for the upcoming year. The survey will remain online until May 28, 2010. Teachers are asked to complete the survey as close to the end of the administration period as possible, since information is still fresh in everyone’s mind. The site location is http://iservices.measuredprogress.org/NYSAASurvey.asp
Please make sure to stress to teachers that they need to use regular Internet Explorer and a PC (not a Mac) in order to correctly access the survey. Also, in many cases a school building will have blocks set up regarding different websites—the teacher may need to contact their IT person to get the survey address allowed.
Thank you all for your time and dedication to this important aspect of NYSAA!
