Printing the Multi-Step DCS Form

Hi!

I am attempting to print out a Multi-Step Activity DCS form on Measured
Progress. Firstly, the form that appears on my computer is not the same
as the one in the manual. The DCS form in the manual is horizontal and
allows for 8 days of evidence gathering. The DCS form that I access on
my computer from Printer Friendly is vertical and has only 5 columns for
5 dates of assessing. Secondly, but more critical, is the fact that I
cannot enter all my information for the Multi-Step Activity form on one
page. It carries over onto a second page, which I don't believe is
acceptable for our portfolios. I had no problem doing DCS's on Profile
last year. No matter how lengthy the wording of my steps, and no matter
how many steps I chose, all the information fit perfectly on the one
page--in landscape (horizontal) form. Do you have any idea why it is so
problematic this year? If I have to custom-fit all my DCS's on the
computer (which I have yet to learn how to do!), since I have at least
nine DCS's to do (fourteen if one of my students returns to school in
time to be assessed), honestly, it would be easier for me to hand-write
all the information on the form.
Thank you in advance for any help that you can offer me on this issue.
Sincerely,
Nancy

Hi Nancy,
Thanks for your email. The landscape forms were reformatted in ProFile
to allow for easier printing. The content on the forms is the same as in
the Administration Manual except there are fewer days for documenting
student performance. If needed an LSET may submit more than one page.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Take care,
Alicia Cuttle
