Good Morning All!


I hope everyone has had a successful start to the year and your
trainings are going well.


We've heard through the grapevine that there may be some confusion
remaining over where to check for and access NYSAA materials and
resource information on the Department's website. As indicated during
the regional training meetings, the VESID site should no longer be used
for NYSAA information. All current information is posted on the OSA's
site: http://www.emsc.nysed.gov/osa/nysaa/home.shtml. It might be a good
idea to bookmark or put this address in your "favorites".


Please discourage teachers from going to the VESID site for NYSAA
administration information.


Please also emphasize that only the 2007-08 materials can be used to
administer NYSAA. As you know extensive work was done to the Frameworks
and AGLIs. The old Frameworks and any supplementary documents
distributed for 2006-07 CANNOT be used this year.
